Hernia Hill

This spectacular course near historic Murphy’s, CA, offers a challenge for all ability levels.

Since 1998 our 1/2 Marathon trophies have been dedicated to Ernie Klann.  Ernie started the first Hernia Hill 1/2 Marathon in 1988.  We are proud to have been associated to continue “his” race.

Course~
All distances are beautifully scenic with hills and finish with a “dash” through the ‘Wine Cave’.
5K – has one fun hill prior to the finish line
10K – Includes a dash up the finishing hill twice, so you get the punishment twice.
Half Marathon – utilizes Red Hill Road with a long and very pretty run through the California Hills…beautiful and golden at this time of year.

Registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable

Post Race Festivities~
Food and refreshments, including beer is sponsored and hosted by On Your Mark.  Included in entry fee.  Available to non-runner adults for $10.00 and children $7.00

Wine tasting, raffle (must be present to win) and award ceremony.

Awards~
5K & 10K – Medals to top 3 winners in all age groups
Half Marathon – Trophies to overall winners.  Medals to top 3 finishers in each age group including Clydesdale division (men over 185 lbs, women over 150 lbs.)

Day of Schedule~
6:30 a.m. – Check-in and race day registration opens
8:00 a.m. – All events start – Proper
10:30 a.m. – Lunch, raffle and award ceremony.
