SUMMARY:Vallejo Waterfront Half Marathon\, 10K & 5K
DESCRIPTION:Unfortunately\, we have to postpone this event till 2021.  Please check back for future updates. \nWe are so excited to host another running event on beautiful Mare Island! All finishers 21 yrs and up will receive a FREE BEER thanks to our major sponsor the MARE ISLAND BREWING COMPANY! We will have a Half Marathon\, 10K and 5K courses taking you through natural and historic sections of the island. We will be starting from the Mare Island Brewing Company coal shed location\, running through over 100 years of Naval history and natural beauty\, with a finish line party at the Mare Island Brew Co Coal Sheds! \nOur Half Marathon course will take you through the historic naval yard along the east side of the island\, to the highest point of Mare Island for beautiful views of the Bay\, Mt. Diablo\, and Mt. Tamalpais. It will then run you down by the Old Admiral housing including St Peter’s Chapel (with the largest collection of Tiffany stainied glass in the West!) and out to the sweeping views of the Mare Island portion of the San Pablo Bay trail on the western side of the island. The 10K will take you by the Old Admiral housing and the San Pablo Bay Trail before heading to the finish. The 5K race will run by the Old Admiral housing before heading to the finish. \nAll participants will receive a tech shirt and finishers medal. Awards will be available for Male and Female of every category. We expect to have categories of <20\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59\, 60+ \nShirt sizes will only be guaranteed for registrations prior to September 1st. Any registrations after that will be on a first come first serve basis on the sizes that are ordered. This event may sell out and day of registration is not guaranteed. DESCRIPTION:The Aztec Run is an annual 5K Run/Walk presented by the Spanish Speaking Citizens Foundation (SSCF). Its purpose is to promote fitness\, build community and raise funds for the educational programs of the SSCF. The SSCF is a community-based non-profit organization that has served the East Bay since 1965. \n \nCourse~\nOnce around beautiful Lake Merritt in Oakland\, CA\, one of the oldest and most historic run courses in Northern California. Wheel chair and baby stroller participants are also welcome. \nEntry Fees~\nChild ages 13 & Under – $10 through race day\nYouth ages 14-24 – Early Bird $20 / $25 starting 9/1/20\, race day $30.\nAdults ages 25-64 – Early Bird $40 / $50 starting 9/1/20\, race day\, $55.\nSeniors 65 & over – Early Bird $30 / $35 starting 9/1/20\, race day $40.\nEARLY BIRD ENTRIES ENDS ON 3/31/2020.\n\nENTRY FEES INCLUDE CUSTON T-SHIRTS\, FINISHER’S RIBBONS AND POST RACE REFRESHMENTS. One Bread Foundation’s focus is to raise funds for children who have become victims of sex trafficking in this country. From school and job closures to travel restrictions and event cancellations\, 2020 has been challenging and unprecedented. As we emerge from dealing with our individual situations and inconveniences\, it’s essential to recognize how the pandemic has affected sex trafficking victims.  \nVirtual 5K – Choose where and when you walk or run – on your treadmill\, around your yard\, through your neighborhood\, or at your local park on October 10-17\, 2020. Download the  Virtual Race App where you can find step-by-step instructions to upload your time and photos to be illustrated in results. You can post your results October 10th through October 18th. DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the\n9th ANNUAL\nDELTA HARVEST RUN\nSeptember 13 – October 31\, 2020\n\nAt this time\, the race committee determined that in the best interest and safety of our community is to offer the Delta Harvest Run as a Virtual event.  This benefit is organized by the Delta Association of Realtors Community Service Foundation. \nProceeds from the Delta Harvest Run support East Contra Costa County food banks/pantries\, shelters and the funding of college scholarships for our local high schools.\nVirtual Run Courses – You can run from anywhere.
