DESCRIPTION:Join us on April 4th with friends and family for the Inaugural Tracy Health and Wellness Run. a 1-Mile Walk/Run and a 5K.   \nStart and finish at Veterans Park\, 238 Glenhaven Dr\, Tracy. \nCourse-\nOffering a 1-Mile Run/Walk along with a 5K.  Both courses are flat and fast on paved road. Please note\, the 1-Mile will be a non-timed event. It is designed for you to enjoy and get yourself moving. The a 5K is chip timed event. SUMMARY:East Bay's Empower the Youth 5K - Postponed - Date TBD
DESCRIPTION:To date\, there are no cases of COVID-19 affecting any Cal State East Bay Campus and the health risk to the general public remains low. However the university is taking actions beginning Wednesday March 11th and initiating the new “social distancing” actions.  Therefore\, we need to postpone our event to a future date\, that has not yet been determined.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  We will be making a public announcement of the new date.\nCal State East Bay’s Kinesiology and Hospitality\, Recreation\, and Tourism departments have organized a 5K event and community health fair on the campus. This event focuses on improving the lives of Hayward’s youth and their families by empowering them through educational activities and information provided by the University and Community programs.\nRun Course:\nFlat\, paved and path roads\, entirely on the CSU\, East Bay Campus\, incorporating some of the most scenic Bay Area views. Start and finish is on the track.\n\nEveryone will be required to sign the attached waiver and bring with you race day.\nFees:\nEarly Bird Special – till November 30th – $10 per participant\nDecember 1st –  January 31st – $15. per participant\nFebruary 1st to March 14th – $20. per participant\nMarch 15th to Race Day – $25. per participant\n\n Awards:\nIndividual – 3 deep in 10-year age groups.\nTeam –  Top Overall\n\nPost Race Community Faire:\nWill include educational information and activities provided by a variety of University Programs including a bone health and power analysis using a vertical jump assessment provided by the Kinesiology Research Group.\nONLINE REGISTRATION
