SUMMARY:Delta Harvest Run
DESCRIPTION:This benefit is organized by the Delta Association of Realtors Community Service Foundation. Proceeds from the Delta Harvest Run support East Contra Costa County food banks/pantries\, shelters and the funding of college scholarships for our local high schools. \nCourses are flat and fast and will appeal to athletes of all levels. Choice of  1-Mile Family Fun Run\, 5K\, 10K and Half Marathon. \nFees:\nEarly Bird Special\n1-Mile Fun Run – $15. (Does not include T-shirt)\n5K – Individual $35.\, Families of 5 – $150.\, Families of 6 – $180.\n10K – Individual – $35.\nHalf Marathon – Individual – $65.\nIncluded in your registration\, custom t-shirt\, runner goodie bag\, post race refreshments and finisher medal. Prices increase August 12th by $10.  Fees are nonrefundable or transferable.  \nEarly Packet Pick Up:\nPre-race packet pickup will be on September 11th from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sports\, 6061 Lone Tree Way\, Suite H\, Brentwood\, CA 94513. You can also pickup your packet one race day at the event site from 6:00 am – 9:00 am. DESCRIPTION:Run or walk… but be there to help raise funds for braces! Proceeds will go towards the cost of braces for a child in need. Bring family\, friends\, and neighbors! \nThe As I Can Foundation is excited to offer its’ 3rd Annual Ice Cream Run by Races for Braces\, featuring a Half Marathon\, 10K and 5K Run. \nThroughout Jerald Asican’s life he developed a charisma second to none. Through guidance he found with his LHS counselor\, Lisa Wilson\, he had come to want to find a way to help foster-youth not only survive but thrive. As I Can Foundation takes a small piece of Jerald’s own dream to have braces and fulfills this dream for other foster youth. When Jerald first moved in with his Forever Home Foster Family he said\, “There is one thing I really want. It can be my birthday gift\, Christmas gift\, and any other gift you can think of. Please… I want braces.” And EVERY child deserves to feel good about their smile.
