DESCRIPTION:Stockton’s Annual Run & Walk Against Hunger is going Virtual this year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Food Banks nationwide have been extra busy in 2020 helping those in need\, and the annual Run & Walk Against Hunger is the organization’s largest one day fundraiser.  We hope that you will join us virtually this year as opposed to joining us downtown. \n2020 marks the 16th year of the event\, last year we had nearly 3\,000 participants and we’d love to blow that number out of the water and have even more people this year!  Register your friends and family\, and then log in the week of Thanksgiving to upload your times through the ITS Virtual Race app between November 23rd – November 29th.  Please note\, the Kids .25 mile is a fun run only.\n \nVIRTUAL RACE FEES:\n$30.00 – Register for the 5k or the 10k Run/Walk – no shirt\n$35.00 – Register for the 5k or the 10k Run/Walk AND pick up your commemorative T-Shirt and bib at Fleet Feet\,Stockton\n$40.00 – Register for the 5k or the 10k Run/Walk AND have your commemorative T-Shirt and bib mailed to you via USPS.\n$15.00 – Register for the Kids .25 Mile Run/Walk – no shirt\, with shirt pickup at Fleet Feet $20.00\, mailed $25.00 Commemorative T-shirt is a long sleeved cotton shirt.  \nCONTEST:\nMake sure to upload a picture of you doing your run/walk wearing your festive outfit – we will select three people who do this and will award prize packs! \nCOURSE:\nRun can be completed wherever you are located at any time of day. DESCRIPTION:Elk Grove’s Thanksgiving Day Gobble Wobble Run has gone virtual! Run\, walk or gobble when and where you want\, outside or on a treadmill\, in support of Chicks in Crisis.\n\nEnjoy a 5K or 10K\, route of your choice and post your time online between November 23rd – November 30th\, 2020.  The run can be completed wherever you are located. Download the IYR app to post times and pictures between to receive your completion certificate and be illustrated in results. \n \nAll participants will receive a custom face mask and a classic Gobble Wobble T-shirt (blast from the past – while supplies last!)  \nStay active and help us save babies! All event proceeds benefit Chicks in Crisis\, a non-profit 501(c)3\, that offers pregnancy\, parenting\, adoption\, and educational services. Please consider signing up as a virtual runner – and help us continue to save babies by directly reducing the number of infants facing abandonment\, foster care\, abuse and even death.
