DESCRIPTION:Stockton’s Annual Run & Walk Against Hunger is going Virtual this year due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Food Banks nationwide have been extra busy in 2020 helping those in need\, and the annual Run & Walk Against Hunger is the organization’s largest one day fundraiser.  We hope that you will join us virtually this year as opposed to joining us downtown. \n2020 marks the 16th year of the event\, last year we had nearly 3\,000 participants and we’d love to blow that number out of the water and have even more people this year!  Register your friends and family\, and then log in the week of Thanksgiving to upload your times through the ITS Virtual Race app between November 23rd – November 29th.  Please note\, the Kids .25 mile is a fun run only.\n \nVIRTUAL RACE FEES:\n$30.00 – Register for the 5k or the 10k Run/Walk – no shirt\n$35.00 – Register for the 5k or the 10k Run/Walk AND pick up your commemorative T-Shirt and bib at Fleet Feet\,Stockton\n$40.00 – Register for the 5k or the 10k Run/Walk AND have your commemorative T-Shirt and bib mailed to you via USPS.\n$15.00 – Register for the Kids .25 Mile Run/Walk – no shirt\, with shirt pickup at Fleet Feet $20.00\, mailed $25.00 Commemorative T-shirt is a long sleeved cotton shirt.  \nCONTEST:\nMake sure to upload a picture of you doing your run/walk wearing your festive outfit – we will select three people who do this and will award prize packs! \nCOURSE:\nRun can be completed wherever you are located at any time of day. Through guidance he found with his LHS counselor\, Lisa Wilson\, he had come to want to find a way to help foster-youth not only survive but thrive.  As I Can Foundation takes a small piece of Jerald’s own dream to have braces and fulfills this dream for other foster youth. When Jerald first moved in with his Forever Home Foster Family he said\, “There is one thing I really want.  It can be my birthday gift\, Christmas gift\, and any other gift you can think of.  Please… I want braces.”  And EVERY child deserves to feel good about their smile. DESCRIPTION:This year’s Schoolhouse Rocks 5K & Festival will be taking place on Sunday May 19\, 2019.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHosted at Hillview Middle School\,  this famous event is being organized and hosted by the Menlo Park–Atherton Education Foundation and supports Encinal\, Laurel\, Oak Knoll and Hillview schools.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWant to find out what the race is like?  Check out this fun race video from the 2018 Schoolhouse Rocks Run made by our event sponsor – Nelson Roberts Investment Advisors.  You can enter either the Competitive 5K or 1 mile Fun Run.  Both runs will start at 9:00 am and the course will wind through the streets of Menlo Park.
