DESCRIPTION:This event will take place Rain or Shine! \nJoin us for some family fun as we present the 27th Annual Chocolate Festival and 1-Mile & 5K Run\, Saturday\, May 18th\, 2019 \nCourse:\nThe 5K Run is a fast paved out & back\, start and finishing near the Chocolate Festival.  The One-Mile Run is a flat walk or run. \nEntry Fees:\n1-Mile Run – \nIndividual ages 12 & Under- $20.\, race day $25.\nIndividual ages 13 & Older – $30.\, race day $35\n5K Run –\nIndividual ages 12 & Under- $25.\, race day $30.\nIndividual ages 13 & Older – $35.\, race day $40.\nFor an additional $5. you can run both the 1-Mile & 5K \nEntry fees include:\nNew custom 27th Annual Chocolate Festival Run T-Shirt\, entrance into the Chocolate Festival\, post race refreshments and award ceremony. \nAwards:\nOverall first male/female for both the 1-Mile & 5K.  Top three finishers in each age group. Awards will be given at William Meyer Park at approximately 9:45 am. \nONLINE REGISTRATION

DESCRIPTION:This year’s Schoolhouse Rocks 5K & Festival will be taking place on Sunday May 19\, 2019.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHosted at Hillview Middle School\,  this famous event is being organized and hosted by the Menlo Park–Atherton Education Foundation and supports Encinal\, Laurel\, Oak Knoll and Hillview schools.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWant to find out what the race is like?  Check out this fun race video from the 2018 Schoolhouse Rocks Run made by our event sponsor – Nelson Roberts Investment Advisors.  You can enter either the Competitive 5K or 1 mile Fun Run.  Both runs will start at 9:00 am and the course will wind through the streets of Menlo Park. Join us for a pre-race warm-up at 8:30 a.m.\nFollowing the run\, there will be plenty of family entertainment at our Race Festival!  This year’s festival will include lots of fun activities for kids of all ages including jumpy houses\, rock climbing wall\, kids’ zone\, food trucks\, DJ and more!   Bring the whole family – this is an event not to be missed!
