California Triathlon

California Golden Bearathlon has roared back to life again at the Berkeley Marina to host three successful races in the past three years. After impressive attendance year after year, we are prepared to host a fourteenth USAT-sanctioned event in the same location on October 21, 2023  Bearathlon takes place at Berkeley’s marina, which protrudes into the San Francisco Bay and offers an ideal situation for both racers and spectators alike. It is secluded from traffic and offers unparalleled views of San Francisco, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Bay Bridge and the Berkeley Hills. Additionally, the marina offers a sheltered cove for safe open water swimming, a hotel to accommodate out-of-town racers, and a design that is incredibly spectator friendly. The race course is beginner-friendly and we welcome athletes of all levels, from new triathletes to some of the top collegiate racers in the country!
