Vallejo Waterfront Half Marathon, 10K & 5K

We are so excited to host another running event on beautiful Mare Island! All finishers 21 yrs and up will receive a FREE BEER thanks to our major sponsor the MARE ISLAND BREWING COMPANY! We will have a Half Marathon, 10K and 5K courses taking you through natural and historic sections of the island. We will be starting from the Mare Island Brewing Company coal shed location, running through over 100 years of Naval history and natural beauty, with a finish line party at the Mare Island Brew Co Coal Sheds!

Our Half Marathon course will take you through the historic naval yard along the east side of the island, to the highest point of Mare Island for beautiful views of the Bay, Mt. Diablo, and Mt. Tamalpais. It will then run you down by the Old Admiral housing including St Peter’s Chapel (with the largest collection of Tiffany stainied glass in the West!) and out to the sweeping views of the Mare Island portion of the San Pablo Bay trail on the western side of the island. The 10K will take you by the Old Admiral housing and the San Pablo Bay Trail before heading to the finish. The 5K race will run by the Old Admiral housing before heading to the finish.

All participants will receive a tech shirt and finishers medal. Awards will be available for Male and Female of every category. We expect to have categories of <20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

Shirt sizes will only be guaranteed for registrations prior to September 1st. Any registrations after that will be on a first come first serve basis on the sizes that are ordered. This event may sell out and day of registration is not guaranteed. Refunds will also not be given.
