Bah Humbug! Run/Walk

Start the holiday season off with a healthy fun run or walk through San Ramon. Participants will receive a custom holiday long sleeved t-shirt and the famous Bah Humbug ornament! This event is great for families and a great opportunity to dress up in your favorite Holiday costume! The Bah Humbug! is a chip time race.
New for 2019! – Kid’s Dash:
The Kid’s Dash is for children ages 4-9 years old. The 1K course will run through portions of Central Park and conclude at the main finish line in front of the San Ramon Community Center. Along the route we have designated volunteers located throughout the course keeping participants safe and cheering them on. The Kid’s Dash is a non-timed event. There will be a clock at finish line for participants to see their personal results. There will not be overall or age group awards. Parents are welcome to accompany 4-6 year old children on the course. All participants will start at 8:20 am. No strollers are allowed on the Kid’s Dash course. 5K Youth participants are also eligible to participate in the Kid’s Dash for no additional cost.
Fees:
5K Adult (Ages 19 & Over) $40 through December 1 | $50 December 2 through race day
5K Youth (Ages 18 & Under) $30 through December 1 | $40 December 2 through race day. 5K Youth Participants are also eligible to participate in the kid’s dash for no additional cost.
Kid’s Dash (Ages 4 – 9) $15 through December 1 | $20 December 2 through race day.
Photo with Santa!:
Come join Santa and his elves for a group or individual picture. Photos can be taken with your own camera or by one of our event photographers, which will be available for purchase after the event.
Costume Contest:
Make sure to come dressed in costume and in the spirit on the run. Costume awards will be given for most Grinch-Like, Best Holiday Spirit and Best Group Theme.
Spread the Holiday Cheer:
Runners are encouraged to bring a can of food to be donated to the Contra Costa County Food Bank to assist those in need during the holidays. Canned food donations will be collected at the check-in/registration tables.
Awards:
Medals are given to overall male/female and first three finishers in each age division. This is the first run of the Mayor’s Crown, which will award the lowest combined times of the 2019 Bah Humbug and the 2020 Run San Ramon pre-registered 5K runner. The Mayor’s Crown winner will be recongized at the 2020 Run San Ramon.
Pre-Registration Packet Pick Up:
All preregistered participants may receive their shirt prior to the event start at packet pick-up hosted by Sports Basement.located at 1041 Market Place San Ramon, CA 94583, on Friday, December 6th from 2:00 pm-8:00 pm. Ornaments are given out at the completion of the run, 20% off at Sports Basement on packet pickup day, Just show your bib at the register! Some exclusions apply.
